Scott Downing
(1988-91)
The only All-American in program history, Downing was inducted into the Tippecanoe Athletic Hall of Fame in 2021. He finished his playing career with 36 goals and 36 assists. His 72 career points rank 7th in program history. Downing played an integral role in elevating the program to new heights, reaching the state final four in both 1989 and ’90. He went on to play at the University of Dayton and returned to coach the Red Devils from 2005-2021.

Brad Gibson
(1997-2000)
A four-year contributor to the program in the late 1990s, Gibson joined his older brother Whitney as a 1st Team All-State honoree. With 53 career goals (4th all-time) and 41 assists (2nd), Gibson ranks 2nd in program history in total points — a record that stood until last season. He led the Red Devils to Southwestern Rivers Conference titles in 1998 and ’99 and a district title in 2000. In 2000, he was named Ohio Division II player of the year. He went on to play collegiate soccer at Clemson University where he started for four seasons and was team captain as a senior. Gibson was inducted into the Tippecanoe Athletic Hall of Fame in 2022.
